This observational survey provides an estimate of statewide Child Passenger Safety (CPS) usage. It also contains statistics on child restraint use by age and restraint type category along with the correlation between driver’s safety belt use and child’s restraint use.

CDC’s WISQARS™ (Web-based Injury Statistics Query and Reporting System) is an interactive, online database that provides fatal and nonfatal injury, violent death, and cost of injury data from a variety of trusted sources. Researchers, the media, public health professionals, and the public can use WISQARS™ data to learn more about the public health and economic burden associated with unintentional and violence-related injury in the United States.

Emergency Medical Services Tracking and Reporting System (EMSTARS)
EMSTARS provides for the collection and analysis of incident level data from EMS agencies for benchmarking and quality improvement initiatives. EMSTARS has been implemented with the guidance of a constituency based advisory group who has defined and maintains a Data Dictionary ensuring the standardized collection of EMS incident data into the state repository.
